12:14 PM: upon entering my studio this morning, both mikela and i had reservations about yesterday’s collage. too much black around the head, for one, as well as those black circles. so i reworked it and i think it has improved. it’s more lyrical and there’s more white space, which one might call dream space. the green leaves add a lot.
and, at the last minute, before leaving the studio with mikela into the driving rain & winds gusting to 40mph, i introduced a tennis player in a pink T shirt.
