10:37 AM: as i gazed at in motion this morning, i had a strong feeling that it was meant to be a vertical, which is how it started out. so now it’s on my painting wall as a vertical and i’m evaluating as i get on with my day, following a big kitchen clean up earlier.
obviously, some compositional changes will be needed later today or tomorrow. that said, even with all the figures now facing sideways, it somehow works better. go figure.
2:17 PM: well, the compositional changes i said would happen have started happening. this is where she’s at as i clean my brushes and call it a day.
