2:02 PM:this afternoon i made a new painting inspired by matisse: two figures in a doorway is 38x36”, oil on portrait linen.
10:55 AM: over the past few days i’ve been working on a 20x16” canvas which this morning became figure with blue beanie. it wasn’t planned; simply emerged while i was painting over yesterday’s version.
