woman with a mike, 2024, 32×26” oil & collage on linen
4:10 PM: today i worked on a 32x36” oil that has been tacked to my studio wall for a long time. it doesn’t have a date on it, but judging my the marks and colors, i’d say it was painted 2-3 years ago. what caught my eye today and inspired me to to go back into it. it was the femalel figure on the right that seemed to me like it needed something more. i’m calling it woman with a mike.
