11:30 AM: yesterday’s watching geese is no longer. it was whited over this morning and has become a horozontal painting titled in motion, 14 1/2 x 57 1/2” all 5 figures have appeared in earlier paintings this year and in 2024. this is stage 1, which will progress.
1:40 PM: i did more work on in motion this afternoon. i rubbed away some of the white while it was still fresh. that revealed some of yesterday’s painting, which was perfect as a background for the figures. i painted into just one of the figures, but the rest will remain white. turned out pretty good, don’t ya think?
