1:05 PM: I had my gum surgery yesterday afternoon in boulder. the procedure took 2 hours, and I have stitches which will be removed in 2 weeks. he numbed the whole area up, so I didn’t start to feel pain till we got home last night. i’m applying ice to keep the swelling down. I came to the studio today thinking maybe I could get some work done, but i’m still too out of it. maybe tomorrow or sunday.
i’m probably going to include 2 paintings from my 2019 sound of a flute series in my upcoming I fly exhibition opening April 22 at space gallery in denver. here’s one of them, titled 10th month, dimensions 78x25” oil on portrait linen.
