4:42 PM lying on kat's couch in edwards, i'm looking back at early gaze series paintings. this is a detail from gaze 6, 48x48" shot on january 19, 2016, about 15 months ago. and below, the most recent gaze update: gaze 35, which i'm still working on. i'm less focused on the details of faces, hands, bodies and more interested in the composition as a whole & the delicate balance, as i've said, between realist depiction & abstraction.
