6:30 am: today we'll drive down to alamosa....50 miles, so that we can lead the first classes of the SLV Summer Camp, held at adams state university. mikela is co-leading the pop up restaurant class with julie, and i'm leading the photography class, with martin. they go from 1-5 pm. students are 11 and up, with a scattering of adults as well. i'll report back tonight or tomorrow and every wednesday through the first wednesday in august, on how things went. 

weather records broken yesterday in crestone 2 weather records were set: the high temperature reached only 62 degrees, breaking the previous record of 70, and the average temperature for the day was also broken, at 54.5 degrees, breaking the old record of 59.4 degrees.
