3:23PM update: these paintings have a breath. when the breath gets weak or stops, it's time to stop for the day; usually right about this time. of course i also get tired. when i'm looking at a piece of linen with paint on it rather than a living, breathing being, i know it's time to stop. this can also occur when an outside distraction presents itself & takes me away.
tomorrow i can't be in my studio, so i'll resume working on this on on wednesday.
