today was tough. both mikela & are are experiencing extreme allergic reactions to the weeds & flowers growing bigger than ever before due to abundant moisture. so when i walked into the studio my eyes were itching and tearing & it was hard to focus & get to work.
i finally began working on the parade painting (see yesterday's post) ,all the while casting glances at perpetual. although it was much improved with the work i did 2 days ago, it just wasn't clicking.
so in an impulsive moment and inspired by dekooning's pink angels, i grabbed my acrylics, matte medium & launched into a rapid re-work, lasting no more than 15 minutes.
