i returned to hot sunday, which was looking too timid. this revision is based upon a plein air painting in oil on linen, done on 6/9/14 (2nd row).
yesterday's version is on the right, today's on the left. the 2 blue marks are cut up pieces of a calligraphy warm up exercise you can find in my 7/19 post. it's on the 2nd row down, on the left.
time to continue work on yesterday's gouache of the met interior.
