this stages of this new collage can be viewed by clicking on the images in the first row below. the very first stage of the process was a drawing based on the plein air paintings hanging on my studio wall. next, elements of collaged drawings, also based on the plein air paintings and then cut into organically shaped segments as well as maps and images of watches were added.
the fourth image to the right, shown in a larger reproduction on the bottom row show the current stage of development. further simplification may take place tomorrow.
