1:44pm update: below is the current state of best left unsaid 8, with two details. i take GREAT delight in making these paintings. it's like i was born to view things from above & paint foreshortened figures. these are going to look very cool staggered on the wall as you ascend some collector's staircase in houston.
i didn't get much sleep last night & i'm bleary-eyed, plus we have to drive to alamosa for a meeting soon, so i'm going to stop here, to be continued tomorrow am. pray i get a good sleep tonight!
painting at north crestone creek last week. perfect weather conditions will allow me to go back out later this week.
following a 3rd stormy day yesterday, the system finally left our valley and the state. a week of fine autumn weather will now unfold, creating perfect plein air painting conditions.
