today i began using acrylic matte medium as a bonding agent to attach the paper to the canvas, rather than the ph neutral glue i had been using. it's a far better solution in every respect: less toxic, more fluid & easy to work with, & it bonds more smoothly with the painting, since it's an acrylic medium, which is the same medium i'm painting with.
