you will see the relationship between those studies from nature and this series of studio paintings. right now, as i look at 7 of those pleine air paintings on my studio wall, which i use for inspiration & ideas, it is as if they looked at one another, winked knowingly and lept off the wall, dancing and shouting for joy.
